One of the most difficult operations in making fans is preparing a template. If the number of leaves is a function of 6, then it isn't too bad, but other numbers can be a problem. You should also note that an ellipse divides differently to a circle (if you just superimpose an ellipse onto a divided circle, the leaves are not even.) This section contains a range of templates which should suit most applications. The templates are produced on CAD, and very accurate. If the drawing is not a large enough tape your print onto another sheet of paper and extend to your requirements.
